Implementation Specialist

ROLE

As part of our Professional Services Team, you will be responsible for installing CropZilla Software as a SaaS solution to large grain farming operations. This is a consultative role in which you will be expected to serve as a trusted business advisor to our customers. Essentially, the position is part technician, part customer service rep, part consultant and part project manager. The ideal person for this role is creative, energetic, independent and performance-driven.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the post-sales customer relationship – function as primary point of contact during implementation and maintain position as trusted advisor to our customers
  • Define and execute implementation of CropZilla, complete associated deliverables, coordinate staffing, and monitor and report results
  • Develop and deliver training
  • Support business development efforts through proposal development, demonstrations, and/or in role as subject matter expert
  • Serve as liaison between the customer and the CropZilla product management team
  • Define and document the delivery approach for the implementation & support
  • Work with our customers throughout the year to ensure they are deriving maximum value from the product and will renew the annual subscription
  • Provide customer feedback to our Product Management team and contribute your own ideas for enhancements
  • Effectively manage schedule and travel budget while working independently from your home office and in-person customer visits
  • Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption of CropZilla
  • Collaborate with other members of our team – Customer Success, Product Management, Business Development, Marketing and Engineering

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Solid understanding of farm operations with a background in farming technologies
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a focus on customer success
  • Must be supremely organized with an inherent attention to detail
  • A degree in Agribusiness is preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience with SaaS a plus
  • Strong listening skills to carefully and effectively processes complex customer requirements on both business and technical standpoints to deliver the solution they need
  • Independent thinking with good judgment skills and a record of problem-solving
  • Excellent business writing, oral communication and interpersonal skills. Able to ask great questions
  • Strong in PowerPoint and Excel. Expert at demonstrating software virtually and in person
  • Willingness to travel 30%-50% of the time
